There are a lot of unexplainable things in the world that we might not ever have the ability to understand like ghosts, Bigfoot, UFOs, and psychics. Yet that will never stop them from being a part of our lives or us even talking about them. The more we can't explain something the more we want to try and prove why they don't exist and aren't real. Sometimes it's best to just focus on things we can explain.
However, for those of you who have a need to for things unexplainable you've come to the right place, especially if you have a thirst for all things psychics. It's something about psychics and their psychic powers that get to us. The term extra-sensory perception or ESP, as it's known, might be up in the top ranks of most unexplained phenomena. How could something such as believing you have the ability to receive information through sensing it with your mind be real?
Psychic abilities such as clairaudience, telepathy, retrocognition, clairvoyance or precognition can't possibly be real, can they? Sure, having a feeling about something is understandable. We all have gut feelings or believe that something might happen before it happens. The term for that is intuition and even intuition is something that can't be entirely explained. Just think of how many times somebody has woken up in the morning with a feeling their car brakes wouldn't work and their first instinct was to bring their car into their auto body shop? Yet, how many of those instances actually resulted in the car being broken?
Does intuition make us psychics or are psychics just people with great intuition? Do they truly believe they can predict events before they happen? Can they know everything that will happen at any given time? If a manufacturing plant is expected to shut down and cost hundreds of people their jobs can psychics warn those workers before it happens? Why is that psychics only predict major events like earthquakes that are about to happen? What about the small things like sensing where the dog is hiding your lost shoes?
It's a bit weird to think that such a thing like psychic powers exists. Really, are we supposed to believe that there are human beings out there with the ability to talk to dead people? Maybe instead of trying to second-guess psychics that we just accept them for who they are. We'll probably never be able to fully understand them or prove that psychic abilities are real or fake. So it's best we just continue to live our everyday lives in our home without trying to explain something that's unexplainable.
